Pound Cake

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 cup milk
3 cups flour
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 t. baking powder

Directions:

Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and baking powder. Add milk alternately with flour mixture, beginning and ending with milk. Stir in vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 10″ bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes and at 325° for 25-30 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
