Shortbread
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups plain flour

1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups plain flour
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and salt; add flour but the 1/2 cup. Mix well forming a soft ball. Divide into 3 portions. Roll each into a long roll the size of a half dollar. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Bake on cookie sheet for 10 -15 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not brown.
