Sweet Rolls

Servings:

Ingredients:
1/2 c sugar
2 pkg (3/4 oz each) yeast
1/2 c warm water
1 1/2 c scalded milk
1/3 c Crisco shortening
2 tsp salt
2 eggs
5 1/2 c flour

 

Directions:

  1. Dissolve yeast in water
  2. Add sugar, salt and shortening to milk.
  3. Add 2 cups of flour and beat well.
  4. Beat in yeast and eggs.
  5. Add remaining flour.
  6. Let rise until doubled.
  7. Shape rolls and let rise again.
  8. Bake @ 350° until brown.
