Cream cheese banana bread

Servings: 2 loaves

Ingredients:
1 1/2 sticks softened butter
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 medium ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Beat butter and cream cheese on medium speed until creamy. Add sugar and continue beating till light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture, beating on low just until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes our clean. Cool on wire racks in pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans to continue cooling on wire racks.
