French Bread (+ Cinnamon Rolls)

Servings:

Ingredients:
4 T active dry yeast
4 c hot water
6 T sugar
2 T salt
1 c vegetable oil
10-12 c flour
4 T gluten

For glaze:

1c powdered sugar
1T softened butter
2T milk

Directions:

Place all ingredients in mixing bowl. Thoroughly knead on medium speed for 8-10 minutes. Let rise in bowl for 10 minutes, then punch down 4 or 5 times. Divide into 3-4 regular loaf pans or shape into rounds. Slash tops with a sharp knife and brush with egg wash. Let rise until double in size. Bake 30 minutes at 400°.

for Cinnamon Rolls:
use 1/2 recipe roll out and spread thin layer of butter, mix 1 t cinammon with 1/3 cup sugar and spread over butter. Let rise, Roll up, bake and glaze with sugar/milk glaze.

for the glaze:
Whisk powered sugar, softened butter and milk to form a glaze the consistency of heavy cream.
