Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup shortening

Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly.
Chill dough at least one hour.
Roll into walnut sized balls and roll in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
Place 2″ apart on ungreased cookie sheet. I use parchment paper.
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
