Feather Light Yeast Rolls

Servings: 2 dozen

Ingredients:
1 cup hot water
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
3 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup oil
1 t. salt
1 package yeast dissolved in 1/3 cup lukewarm water

Directions:

Combine 1 five ingredients in a large bowl. Beat until smooth. Add yeast mixture and beat well. Let rise in warm place 1 hour or until doubled. Dump roll dough onto 1 cup flour and knead until smooth. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut with small biscuit cutter. Place on greased pan and let rise until doubled. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Brush with melted butter while hot.
