Almond Flavored Torte

Ingredients:
1 pkg. butter recipe cake mix
3/4 cup water
1 stick butter, softened
3 eggs
1 t. pure almond flavoring
1 small vanilla instant pudding
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 t. almond flavoring
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
1/2 square semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 t. oil
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 t. almond flavoring
3-4 t. milk

Directions:

Prepare cake according to pkg. directions, adding almond flavoring. Bake in 2 greased and floured 9 inch pans. Cool.
Combine pudding mix, milk and almond flavoring in large bowl. Beat at low speed 2 minutes, let stand 5 minutes. Fold in whipped cream. Set aside.

Split each layer in half horizontally, forming 4 layers. Place one layer on plate and spread with 1/3 of pudding mixture. Repeat with next 2 layers. Top with 4th layer.

Put chocolate and oil in small zip lock bag. Heat in microwave 20-30 seconds till melted, kneading bag to mix oil and chocolate. Set aside.

Beat powdered sugar, almond flavoring and milk in small bowl by hand. Spread glaze over top layer.
Snip corner off bag of chocolate and make lines 1 inch apart over glaze. Take a toothpick and draw lines 1 inch apart across top of lines and glaze.

Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
