Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter cut up
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
4 large eggs lightly beaten
2 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Combine flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Cut in 3/4 cup butter until mixture looks like crumbs. Press into greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake for 17 -25 minutes at 350 degrees until light brown. Combine brown sugar, syrup and 1/2 cup butter in saucepan; bring to boil and add 2 eggs. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Pour over crust. Make for 30 minutes at 350 degrees until set. Cool. Cut into bars.
