Apple Pie Filling

Ingredients:
6 apples, peeled and sliced thin (yellow delicious or granny smith)
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar, divided
1/2 c. orange juice
3 T. flour

Directions:

Combine apples, butter, orange juice and 1/2 c. sugar in skillet over med. high heat. Cook until tender and clear. Mix 1/2 c. sugar and 3 T. flour and stir into apples. Cook until thickened. Pour into unbaked pie shell and top with lattice. Brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until browned.
